How it all started...
Life Change Church was started January 16, 2008 in Dale and Rebecca Herring's living room with a small group of people who desired to learn how to love God and love people by listening to God and doing what He says. In April, 2008 we started renting space at what was then called Eastside Christian Assembly. In September, 2008 we had our first Sunday service.
Expanding the vision...
On Good Friday 2010, we moved into the building at 200 Ackerman. There were 12 of us that spent time together rejoicing over the fact that Christ died for our sins and for the fact that He had given us a home to build His church. In 2024 we purchased the building which was formerly known as Cardinal Services and in March of 2025 we moved our offices and youth ministry into that building.
Where we are headed...
Our goal is to continue to share the love of Jesus with all of those we come into contact with and to continue to be a light to Coos Bay's Bay Area. Our desire is to be a light in the darkness and to continue to draw people to Jesus.
